Village at the Moorlands

This 48‑unit, multi‑phased residential development was envisioned as a village‑style community designed to provide attractive and attainable housing for first‑time homebuyers. Situated on a 17‑acre site, the project features a mix of one‑, two‑, and three‑bedroom residences ranging from 800 to 1,200 square feet, thoughtfully arranged to create a cohesive neighborhood environment.

Drawing inspiration from the architecture and character of the Scottish moorlands, the design incorporates traditional forms, varied building compositions, and carefully planned streetscapes to establish a distinct sense of place. Site planning focused on balancing density with open space, creating pedestrian‑friendly connections and fostering a strong community identity.

The project included comprehensive architectural services, from initial programming and site analysis through master planning, building design, and presentation graphics. The result is a thoughtfully planned residential community that combines timeless architectural character with practical, modern housing options.
