Marshside Residence Renovation

This residential project in Scituate involved a comprehensive renovation and a full third‑floor addition designed to expand the home’s living space and strengthen its connection to the surrounding coastal landscape. The new upper level introduces a thoughtfully planned suite of rooms—including a bedroom, bathroom, den, and dedicated office—creating a flexible, modern living environment tailored to the homeowner’s needs.

Adding the new stair required strategic reconfiguration of the existing floor plan, improving circulation and integrating the expanded vertical layout seamlessly into the home’s original structure. At the rear, a new outdoor balcony was added to capture sweeping views of the marsh, providing a quiet retreat and enhancing the home’s relationship to its natural setting.

Beyond the main residence, the project included the renovation of a small outdoor shed, transforming it into a fully functional bar space for entertaining and gatherings.
